Everytime Visual Studio 2005 Crashes with Interprise SDK (which happens quite often) the Interprise Plugin Factor Context Menu disappears and I have to recreate my plugin project all over again. Is there a way to make sure the plugin is loaded?

Would you mind confirming if your Visual Studio 2005 already has Service Pack 1 installed? On the other hand, there is a tutorial in the Interprise Resource Center on how to manually fix the factory context menu without recreating your plugin solution from scratch.

Open Interprise Suite SDK Resource Center from your windows programs menu and under 100 Introduction group you will find the topic at the bottom called Fix Missing Recipe Context Menu.

Harry

We have been developing in IS for some 2 years now and don't get VS crashing very often, but we do get the context menus disappearing occasionally.  they also vanish if you change the directory path to the solution.

We now make sure we copy the .gpstate file when we create a new solution so htat we always have one available.  It saves having to recreate the project as per the Resource centre fix

Don't forget to update the copy if you add or remove any projects to the solution.
