I am at this part of the tutorial:

1.4 / 2. Then in the Startup Object field, select HelloWold

I can't, the dropdown list just reads (none)

when I try to debug i get

A project with output type of class library cannot be started directly.
In order to debug this project, add an executlable project to this solutio which references the project. Set the executable project as the startup project.

Am I doing something wrong or is something missing from the tutorial?

Hello World Example

I am trying to create the Hello World program. I was able to create the control, but the box that appears in the example, did not appear in my control. Also, I am not able to change the size of the label. When I go to the next step to select Startup Object, it does not appear. Any help would be appreciated. -Thanks, Mark

Error Compiling the Inheritance Example

I have followed the Inheritance example using the c# plugin generator. After just following the instructions and compiling, I get the following error:

Error 9 Cannot create an instance of the abstract class or interface 'Interprise.Facade.Base.BaseFacade'

I checked and BaseFacade is an abstract class. This is code generated by your VS add-in. I am guessing something changed in the SDK from the time the add-in was coded to now.

In any case, how do I move forward with this.

Item search method in sales and purchasing

When entering an item into the sales (and suspect purchasing) documents, Interprise uses a %Like% match across ItemName, Description, Type and other fields. This causes a lot of problems when the customers exisiting item number scheme as codes like 'SA', 'SA123','SA12345' plus numberous decriptions where the code 'SA' might turn up.

They would an exact match, as well as possible an incremental serach and some others may prefer to limit where search looks to just item codes.

Could this be reasonably accomplished through the SDK or is this a lost cause?

Creating your own segmented COA segment order

It looks to me like when you create segmented account, it always puts the account code 1st.

I need to build a chart of accounts where the account code is last in the segement -- ie 01-001-5300 where 5300 is the account code?

It does not look like you can do in the wizard, but it also looks like if you do it through SQL or a custom plug in, the rest of Interpise won't care as long as you have consistent coding. Can you confirm or ask the developers if that is the case?

SQL Code to delete certain products from a certain manufacturer

All, I am interested in clearing certain products from the database for a certain category and was wondering if someone could provide the proper code as i am not an SQL expert nor am i knowledgable enough of the database to attempt this myself. Also was wondering if it is possible to clear out the complete database/ Christian
