has anyone done this before?

can anyone give me some feedback regarding the steps to take and if it is possible to do without getting the source code?

Custom Field on InventoryItemWebOption doesn't change per storefront

I have created a Custom Field in the InventoryItemWebOption table and have exposed this field on the Settings Tab on the Web Options tab of Inventory Item. The data correctly shows for my custom field and can be updated... except it is only the first Web Store in the Web Store list. Selecting a different Web Store changes all the fields on the form... except my Custom Field. The value is from the first Web Store and when a "Save" is performed, all the correct fields are saved to the other Web Store... except my Custom Field. Even though I am on Web Store #2 (for example), the data for my Custom Field updates InventoryItemWebOption where WebSiteCode = 1 (the first store in the list).

QUESTION
How do I get my Custom Field to pull/display and then update the correct WebSiteCode?!?

Hi. I'm trying to recreate Bill Dimes' UPS Tracking example from the 2008 conference. I downloaded that at http://www.connectedbusiness.com/NEWSANDEVENTS/tabid/179/Default.aspx. I'm having a problem from the very first build, after connecting the dataset. I'm getting the errors you see below. When I followed the path to see if the "missing" files are really not there, I found .xml files where the error indicates a .dll should be. For example, I found QSI.Framework.UPSTracking2a.xml at I:\MyPlugins\UPSTracking2\Shared\QSI.Framework.UPSTracking2a\bin\Debug instead of *.dll. Is my error obvious? How do I get on the right track? One (minor?) caveat, I'm using an Access table for my data instead of a SQL table. Adding custom field sales order item grid

I added a custom field to the InventoryItem table (NoButton_C) so that I could customize the Invenotry Item grid in sales order screen to add this custom field for each row in the grid. I made all the atttributes were checked when adding field to the table. However it does not list with the rest of the item fields when I open the customize drop down and select Customize Grid Layout. Did I miss a step?

User Role for Plugins

Why can't we introduce an ALL option by using Like operator in the retrieves and display of role codes. It is very frustrating in a multi-user role company to deploy plugins.

ListControl

I am creating a control based upon the WizardControl. On a few pages I have placed a ListControl.

Whenever I edit that page in the designer, the TabPageVisible gets set to 'false' in the designer file even though the UI says it is true. I have to set it to true manually for the list to show up.

Is this a known problem?

Where's the SDK reference?

I can't seem to locate any reference for the Interprise SDK. What is listed as documentation has samples and tuoritals but no reference.

For example, where would I find a specific description of the Facade.LoadDataSet method and it's string[][] parameters?

Different invoice designs for different webshops

Hello

If we have 3-4 installations of ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT can we then have different designs on the invoices for each shop, so that people do not see that its the same company that own all 4?

I dont know if user that by from a shop is connected to that shop in IS somehow. This would be pretty important when sending out email to those of just that one shop via the targeted lists tab.

How to speed up IS ??

Hello fellow developers

Until this is resolved we will not spend a lot of time, trying to sell IS to our customers.

We need to find out why IS is so slow on our servers and need some ideas to speed it up, before we set heaven and earth in motion.

We are running IS SP4 single user edition, on a Dual Xeon 3.0 ghz with 2GBram. Software is Win2003 standard and MS SQL is 2005 express edition.

Could we run it on MS SQL 2000 Enterprise instead for better performance and can the Single user version even run ons SQL 2000 Enterprise, i believe to have heard it cannot, but that was from the time of SP3.

I beleive that the speed really need to be addressed overall since new user are scared away by the slow system even on fast computers.
